Dr. Izzy Kirsh is an 18-year veteran of private practice audiology and has established himself as a leader in hearing care services. Dr. Kirsh received his M.Ed. in Audiology from the University of Virginia and completed his Ph.D. in Audiology at The Union University. He served on the Sonus Advisory Board, has received more than 12 continuing education awards from ASHA/AAA, and has been recognized with "Who's Who" honors throughout his career. His regular column, “Dr. Izzy’s Sound Advice,” now appears in over six newspapers. In his past, Dr. Kirsh was a championship arm-wrestler, winning over thirty state and national titles. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, Shira (a private practice Speech-Language Pathologist) and his two children, Melanie and Joseph.
