Dr. Mary Lou has been involved in hearing health care all of her life.  Since 1973 she has been President of Luebbe Hearing Services, Inc., established by her father in 1946, and recently voted as one of the Outstanding Family-Owned Businesses in Central Ohio.  She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida; her master’s in Communication/Hearing & Speech Science/Audiology from The Ohio State University; her bachelor’s in Business Administration and Marketing from The Ohio State University.  Mary Lou’s accomplishments and contributions to both the local and global communities are extensive.  She has served on President George W. Bush’s Business Advisory Council, and is on the Board of Trustees of People-to-People International.  She is the recipient of People-to-People’s 2005 Leadership Award, and has helped the hearing impaired in China, Europe, South America, Russia and Africa.  She is a charter member of the Women Presidents Organization, and is on the Board of Directors of the Arthritis Foundation of Central Ohio.
